Ultra Palmolive Soft Touch

I received 2 full bottles of Ultra Palmolive Soft Touch Dish Liquid from Influenster. I had previously been exclusively using another brand because I had used others that just didn't hold up against my brand. When I was chosen for this brand I didn't get my hopes up.

When I received it in the mail the first thing I did was smell it. It has a very pleasant smell that isn't overwhelming which is very nice!! Next thing I did was put it to the test. I cook mainly from scratch here so I have a wide array of dirty dishes here. Everything from greasy, to dried on, to cooked on.

I kept the Aloe because I liked the smell better, and passed on the Vitamin E to a friend of mine to try out

I have used half the bottle now and don't think I'll be switching back! I love Palmolive!

And as for my hands, well I now don't have to run to a bottle of lotion right after doing the dishes anymore!! Very happy!

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil Review

Hair: I tried this out two ways on two different days
First I applied it right after shampooing. Just two sprays in my hand (which was difficult because my hands were wet and the bottle is slick) Then I towel dried my hair, combed it and went to bed. When I woke up my hair was still wet and felt over moisturized??  But once it air dried it was nice and soft. No greasy feel and not weighed down.
Second I washed my hair towel dried applied two sprays to my hand and combed my fingers through, then I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it. It was again very nice and soft very shiny full of body.
Body: I applied this also two different way on two separate days
First I applied in the shower rubbed it in and towel dried a min later. My skin was very soft and didn't need lotion! Very impressed!

Second I applied it to my dry skin and it soaked in very fast and left my skin very soft. again no need for lotion!

I do believe I have replaced my lotions and leave in conditioner!

L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream Review

Lets just start out with I am a stay at home, homeschooling mama so I don't need to put on make up very often but when I do I like it to look as natural as possible. Except my eyes lol.

I had toyed with trying out L’Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream before but I'm like most and once I find something I like I tend to stick with it. I was very excited that SheSpeaks gave me the opportunity to test this new BB cream out.
There are some pros and cons to this product (as with all products)

Pros:
Looks natural on
Long lasting
Light weight
Easy application
Non greasy
A little goes a long way

Cons:
Scented
stings eyes when accidently put smeared in (oops)
Leaves a sticky feel all day if not covered in powder

While I really do like it for the most part I don't think I will be buying BB cream in the near future. the cons for me out weigh the pros.

From the company :

Torani review

I was given the opportunity to review Torani syrup through the Shespeaks program
Before I had gotten this challenge I hadn't really thought about coffee syrup. I'm a creamer kinda gal and don't change much once I find something that I like. This is the kit that I was sent (yes I was very surprised and excited to find 2 HUGE bottles in the package!!)
1 sugar free Salted Caramel syrup
1 Gingerbread syrup
and 5 $1 off coupons ((which I have more of if you would like one)
and a recipe book

First off I did just put it in my hot coffee. It was good though I do prefer my creamer.
But then I tried out some of the recipes in the pamphlet it's like a new world had just opened up in my kitchen!

I was making cold coffee

And different kinds of hot cocoa!!
Have you ever tried gingerbread hot coca?!!! You really should!

And even though the Salted Caramel was sugar free (which I never choose off the shelf) I actually prefer the taste to the full sugar ones. Torani will definitely be a staple in my kitchen. Now to get some coffee...

Winner announced!! Natasha! Please email me and let me know how I can get this to you!

My review:
This is my Covergirl blast flipstick kit that I received from BzzAgent. It came with 3 beautiful colors to share! I gave one to my neighbor and one to my giveaway winner Natasha! I got to keep Vixen. I was very pleased with this lip color. All 3 looks went very well with my skin tone.

the first look is the shimmer side. Its very pale but good for days that I don't want o wear a lot of makeup but don't want to look like I don't care.

The next look  is the cream shade. it a great look for going out. When I want heads to turn

And last this is the blended look. I would definitely use this look if I was going out but don't want it to be way over the top. I like this look the best.

This lipstic goes one very smooth and stays on for a good amount of time. It's not a stay on all day kind of lipstick but with 3 looks on one stick it's very likely to stay in my makeup bag in my purse.

Benjamin Moore Aura Paint review

I was given the opportunity to try out Benjamin Moore's new Aura interior paint through BzzAgent
I was very excited to try out a new paint because A: it's very expensive to test out paints and find out that you don't like them (previous experience) and B: I get to paint!!!

  • Excellent touch up
  • Self priming
  • Easy application
  • Long lasting fresh look appearance
  • Easy clean up

Before my kitchen (and pretty much my whole house) was very plain. I have all off white walls. I try to accessorize but honestly it wasn't quite enough. It took me a long time to come up with the right color for us. I I was very afraid of picking the wrong color and being stuck with it for years. I didn't want something too dark because I like for the house to look very open. I also didn't want to go over the top with the color in brightness for fear that it would be too much.

These were the final colors that it came down to. I know there kinda safe colors but I honestly wasn't too sure about these either. We settled on the dill pickle.

Now it was time to tape everything off!

And up went the paint. It went on very smooth and evenly. I have used other cheaper paints in the past that don't even come close to the ease that Aura went on. It was wonderful! I only used a small hand paintbrush to paint with the entire time. It took one overall coat and a few touch ups after it dried. My total time for painting was about 3 hours. It probably would have been quicker with a roller but I enjoyed using the paintbrush. Now with using a paintbrush with other brands I have experienced that the paint would have horrible brush strokes. With Benjamin Moore Aura I didn't have not one brush stroke! And even with painting as much as I did I only used 1/3 of the can!!! so even though the paint is $64 a gallon it only really cost me just over $21 in paint for this room! Not too bad! (makes me wish that they sold paint in half gallon sizes)

Like I said earlier we settled with dill pickle (because I was scared of color) But I have to say I LOVE this color!!! It's bright but not over powering (the bottom pic shows the color best) and it goes really well with the bright yellow and browns I have in my kitchen. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome! Now I'm just looking for the perfect curtains to tie everything together.
So my over all conclusion is that I love Benjamin Moore Aura so much that I will not be going back to the cheap stuff again! Why spend more time painting than you have too?  I urge you next time you need/want to paint to give Aura a try you will not be disappointed!

****Update: since painting I have had the opportunity to scrub my freshly painted walls thanks to my 19mo old. she loves to color and has decided that it needed more color lol. Not only with crayon but with concord  grape juice.... I have to say that both the crayon and juice came off with minimal effort and the paint still looks perfect!

Did I mention being a BzzAgent means #IGotItFree!!

SMARTFOOD SELECTS review

As a BzzAgent I was given the opportunity to try out SMARTFOOD SELECTS new flavors!
I have had Smartfood popcorn before (it's my go to prepopped popcorn) I love there white cheddar! So naturally I was happy to find out that I would be testing these!
I received Cinnamon brown sugar popcorn and Feta herb & Garlic tomato basil popchips
***They now have hummus popchips! ♥ hummus!

When I opened the package I could see/feel the difference in just the packaging. I know a lot of people don't pay that much attention to packaging but I do. I don't like having to repackage my food after opening it. They now have this wonderful zip lock opening! NO MORE STALE POPCORN! (or wasted baggies!)

 SEE! Wonderful!

The hummus popchips have the crunch of regular chips but there not so bad for you! Which is always a plus in my book. The flavor is not like that of chips because, well, there not potatoes. But there good! Full of flavor but not overly pungent.

The popcorn oh the popcorn! It's fluffy, it's crunchy, it's sweet cinnamony goodness. Not too sweet though, it's just just the right amount of flavor to keep it light.

Oh did I mention that Smart food is also good for you? Ya I said it. great taste and it won't make you feel bad for eating it. They have no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. No MSG and 0 grams of fat and there Kosher to boot!
